A few months ago, ScraperSensei started as a simple idea “what if we could use AI to automate browser actions and scrape data from websites?”
However, I noticed it doens’t easy as I thought: getting LLMs to control browser actions isn’t easy. But after bunch of research and preparation in my free time, I began building ScraperSensei. Two weeks later, we had our first working version with promising results.

I built ScraperSensei with simplicity in mind. As a daily user myself, I wanted an intuitive interface that makes browser automation accessible to everyone. The AI integration also helps achieve this by making complex automation tasks feel natural and straightforward.
Here is the roadmap for the next few months:
- Managed OpenAI, you don’t have to put your OpenAI key in the extension
- Cloud version, you can schedule workflows run in specific time
- Expanded use cases for both AI and manual automation
- Continuous UI/UX improvements
